The Hit-Air team offers its expert service to ensure that your airbag vest is fully functional or, if not, to identify potential anomalies.
Your vest will undergo a thorough diagnosis where we will perform various tests to check the condition of all its components:
- The internal membrane by testing your equipment under deployment conditions (checking pressure resistance, maximum deployment volume, inflation duration, and air evacuation time via the decompression valve)
- The casing by checking for any signs of corrosion/rust that could interfere with proper airbag deployment, ensuring the firing pin is not twisted, that re-arming is easy, etc.
- The general condition of seams, snap fasteners, etc.
- After a serious fall or if you fall regularly (more than 10 times/year)
- If the airbag vest has not deployed for some time
- If the vest deflates too quickly after deployment
- If your airbag has been subjected to unusual conditions (humidity, heat, etc.)?
- If you want to resell it second-hand, it is always more reassuring for the buyer to know that the vest has been checked by Hit-Air and certified as fully functional.
- If you have just bought a second-hand airbag vest from a private individual

Allow approximately 5 to 8 days for this type of service from the receipt of the vest at our premises.
Your vest will be returned to you with a certificate confirming its proper functioning.
However, if your vest has a problem with seams/fabric or membrane, it will have to be sent to our workshop in Japan for repairs. In this case, we will contact you to provide you with a quote for the necessary repairs.
Please note that we cannot perform partial repairs. If you refuse the repair, your vest will be returned to you as is, and an expertise fee (€50 including VAT) will be payable. A certificate of non-conformity will be sent to you.

If you can also attach the purchase invoice for your airbag vest, that would be a plus.
